What are we doing???

We are living in a time where mortgage's and credit cards are everyday life for Muslims
Who think Riba is the OK way to get finance.

We are living in a time where we have many Muslim brothers and sisters but no true friends
Unless you have something to give.

We are living in a time where we have many who believe they are pious,
But are often just show off, towards others who know little of Deen.

We are living in a time where we are steadfast upon our 5 Pillars,
But have no idea how to act and speak with each other,
In a nice comforting way.

We are living in a time where childcare is the new way to raise Muslim children,
Because a dual income is more important for that Riba,
Or are just too tired and fed up to look after the kids.

We are living in a time where Assalamualaikum, Jazakallah, InshaAllah, etc.
Are all just a figure of speech, instead of a sign of the heart.

We are living in a time where instead of our faces glowing with Nuur,
They burn with jealousy and hate towards each other.

We are living in a time where Muslims are more regular in Centrelink Offices,
Than in honesty and trustworthyness.

We are living in a time where we get satisfaction from gossiping and interfering which we call "Giving Advice"
About people we know nothing about.

We are living in a time where we only associate in the same culture,
And only befriend those who look the same,
Or come from the same country,
We work hard towards making groups,
Where Islamic lectures are given in a foreign language,
Without any English translation,
Stopping others to join and unite.

We are living in a time where we spend a lot of time arguing over matters of fiqh,
Whilst our brothers and sisters are caught in the casino and northbridge clubs or haraam restaurants.

We are living in a time where children of the Kaafiriin,
Are often more well behaved and well mannered than ours.

May Allah SWT give us all hidayah.

Allah says in the Quran: "Whoever is guided is only guided for the benefit of his soul. And whoever errs only errs against it. And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And never would We sent punish until We sent a messenger." (QS17:15)

Wallahu ta'ala a'lam..
